Engineering Manager
Engineering Manager - Support Team Manager - NOC - Cisco - Cat5e/6 Cabling - 45 - 55K required by my Telecoms and Network client based in West Sussex. NOC Manager - Support Team Manager opportunity open for an experienced and ambitious NOC Manager to deliver world class solutions to the client base.
Ideally, the Engineering Manager will have a strong background in network management, analysis, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities include:
The Engineering Manager will manage the team responsible for the configuring, installation and troubleshooting of Cisco hardware, with a proven track record in design of network solutions
Manage the commissioning of WAN circuits - MPLS - Ethernet - ADSL - Internet
Managing the team responsible for the following activities:
- Installation and termination of Copper and Fibre cabling
- Performing wireless network surveys, to map out optimum locations for wireless access
point installation
The Support Team Manager will provide documentation of cabling design and technical handover to in house NOC for on-going support and management
What I'm looking for:
Graduate calibre
The Engineering Manager will have proven experience in management of multidisciplinary engineering teams
Holding a valid CCNA or CCNP technical accreditation will prove advantageous
The Support Team Manager will have proven knowledge and competence of Cat5e / 6 cabling
