About the Opportunity

Berg Engineering has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead their dedicated team, based at Brendale in Brisbane. This is a full time role, working Monday to Friday.

In this pivotal role, you will be working with the Team Leaders of Engineering and Internal Sales to stabilise and fine-tune the processes in support of the business development activities.

This will include accurately estimating and quoting welding and fabrication work, refurbishing pumps, valves, gearboxes and other mining assets, and driving business outcomes like on time delivery and business profitability.

You will be a strong leader with experience in Lean principles, and a solid history of managing and inspiring estimators and design engineers in a manufacturing, heavy engineering environment. You will also be a good relationship builder with a strong customer service attitude and a hardworking ethic, with the ability to deal with people across all levels of the organisation.

About the Benefits

In reward for your hard work and dedication, you will be offered a highly attractive salary package circa $170,000 per annum, depending on experience, qualifications and skills. This includes a mobile, laptop and the option of either a car or car allowance!
