Volt is seeking an Engineering Manager for a client located in Fresno, CA. As the Engineering Manager the primary responsibility will be to manage the Automation division which includes Sr. Application Engineer, Application Engineer, Sr. Systems Developer, Systems Developer, Design Draftsman, and Technical Writer. Will be responsible for leading application development, researching and evaluating new products and technologies, establishing and enforcing standards, methods, and procedures to be used in the designing of PLC programs and HMI configuration. Will also review customer specifications and develop estimates for designs, labor and material to be used for bidding purposes. This is a direct placement opportunity. Requirements:
Must have a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Computer Science along with 10 or more years of experience in an Applications Engineering or similar capacity. Must be able to set up, install, and configure HMI software. Able to develop PLC ladder logic on complex machine control and cascade loop processes with various hardware and software platforms.
