Ad for Engineering Supervisor
BD Engineering is a growing engineering firm whose growth strategy requires the business owners to allocate more time out of the office to grow the business.
We are looking for an individual to manage the day to day engineering design operations in the following disciplines for commercial and light industrial facilities:
· HVAC
· Electrical
· Plumbing
· Fire Protection
The applicant must meet the following requirements.
1. Licensed Professional Engineer, licensed in multiple states or capable of being licensed in multiple states.
2. Comfortable reviewing, signing and sealing the documents for all the design disciplines listed above.
3. Has worked for a private firm, reporting directly to the business owner(s).
4. Is an Excellent Communicator with excellent follow up skills.
5. Is enthusiastic about mentoring junior engineers.
6. Has construction and constructability experience.
7. Is comfortable meeting with and speaking in front of clients.
8. Accepts that this position will require them to spend the majority of their time in the office.
