Global Food manufacturing company with a network of operations throughout Australia and a major arm located in Melbourne.
They require the expertise of a Plant Maintenance Manager to lead and develop their Engineering and Maintenance department. The role will manage all maintenance and engineering operations including breakdown and preventive maintenance strategies as well as capital works projects. The person will ensure the plant and equipment is maintained to perform at optimum levels through good leadership and a strong technical understanding.
With a large, experienced team at hand the ideal candidate will offer outstanding managerial competence, able to develop and implement strategies to improve the maintenance team’s capabilities and meet KPI targets.
This requires a candidate with a solid background in Maintenance and Engineering Management within a large manufacturing plant or multiple sites, FMCG experience will be an advantage.
A tertiary qualification or equivalent formal studies in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering will be highly regarded.
