ENGINEERING MANAGER
for a growing company
In addition to leading a staff of 4, Manager will perform technical design and development of product, making recommendations regarding materials, stress, weight and quality. Ensure the standardization of parts and components to minimize costs
Investigates and solves manufacturing problems related to new product development or existing product revisions or upgrades
- Completes research on new components and applies them to product development or upgrades
- Performs a liaison function for prototype build/test through production build of cylinders. Coordintes the manufacture of new parts with other departments
- Keeps abreast of technical advancements by formal or informal studies related to engineering
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Sucessfull candidates will have:
1.) BSME
2.)Product design experience, preferably in hydrolic cylinders
3.)Knowledge of machining, welding processes
4.)FEAon cylinders
5.Testing techniques
