Quality Assurance Manager, Pricing Dynamics for the Enterprise Revenue Dynamics

 

The QA Manager reports to the Director of Quality Assurance and leads all QA activities for our Pricing Dynamics product.  The QA Manager leads multi-shore QA teams and collaborates closely with engineering, program management, product management and documentation services partners in a tightly knit development focus team to deliver world class enterprise contract pricing solutions on time and with high quality.  The position is offered in our Newark development centers.

 

Responsibilities

 

·         Manage multi-shore and multi-disciplinary QA teams in the US and India

·         Recruit, mentor, coach, and make effective world class QA teams on and off shore

·         Define, develop and implement QA industry best practices to include test plans, process, automation, and metrics

·         Translate product requirements and designs into effective test plans, scripts, and automation

·         Lead the execution of test plans, scripts, and automation for full product test coverage to deliver highest product quality

·         Maintain and report product test metrics for all active projects to include test coverage, function coverage, project plans, test cases, and plans

 

Requirements

 

·         BS or MS of Computer Science or equivalent work experience

·         8+ years of hands on enterprise software QA engineering, analysis, and testing experience

·         6+ years of hands on of J2EE, web based, enterprise software application engineering, analysis, and testing experience

·         3+ years of QA engineering, analysis, and testing experience at the QA lead, supervisor or manager level

·         2+ years of QA engineering, analysis, and testing experience with managing offshore/multi-shore QA teams

·         Proven expertise and success with various QA engineering, analysis, and testing methodologies and software development lifecycles

·         Proven expertise and success with QA automation tools, both commercial and open source to include HP QuickTest Pro and Selenium, for example

·         Proven success with regression, performance, concurrency, and scalability testing methodologies

·         Strong understanding and QA engineering, analysis, and testing experience with J2EE technologies and architecture to include JSP, EJB, Struts, Hibernate, and Java language fundamentals

·         Strong understanding and QA engineering, analysis, and testing experience with Windows, Linux, and Solaris OS platforms

·         Strong understanding and QA engineering, analysis, and testing experience with JBoss, BEA Weblogic and IBM Websphere application servers

·         Enterprise contract pricing management software QA experience strongly desired

·         Enterprise life science software QA experience strongly desired
