Adecco ET has an immediate need for an Engineering Specialist with FEA experience to work with our client in (West) Houston, TX.
Engineering Specialist with FEA Experience
The Engineering Specialist will work on project with a team, designing subsea pipelines and associated facilities at conception/FEED and detailed design phases.
Tasks will include wall thickness determination, analysis of stability, span, buckling and collapse, installation, as well as route selection, and cathodic protection.
Must have knowledge and experience with Finite Element Analysis, both by hand calculation and utilizing software such as SACS and ANSYS.
Duties will include development of specifications and scopes of work and other related marine pipeline activities.
Must have experience interacting with project management, riser and subsea engineers, surveyors, procurement and construction management personnel.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline.
Minimum of 4+ years experience.
