ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

We are USUI INTERNATIONAL, a growing automotive parts manufacturer located in Plymouth, MI and we are seeking an Engineering Technician. 

 

 

DUTIES:

 

·         Prepare material and equipment for testing and recording of results

·         Conduct routine maintenance of testing equipment

·         Mount, polish and etch metallurgical samples and conduct hardness testing

·         Conduct other testing or record data as directed by engineering staff

·         Compile data and generate test reports including light statistical analysis where appropriate

·         Follow company safety and health guidelines and other company policies

·         4S

 

Qualifications:

·         Associates degree in Engineering Technology

·         1-2 years of experience

·         Previous experience with testing equipment

·         Experience with machining equipment such as lathe and milling center a plus

·         Strong computer skills including the use of MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint

·         Strong math and mechanical skills

·         Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
