Engineering Technologist IV Job in Edmonton, Alberta Canada

Primary Focus

Technical resource for field construction, maintenance, and repair activities within the Facilities Integrity Department in support of the execution of Facility Integrity programs.

Responsibilities

Ensure the successful implementation and execution of Facilities Integrity Programs throughout the Enbridge system in a timely and cost effective manner.

Maintain and grow inter-departmental relationships between Facilities Integrity and other Enbridge business units.

Provide technical support and guidance (on piping and tubing installation best practices) to Facilities Integrity and other Enbridge business units as required.

Develop integrity programs and initiatives for pipeline facilities as required.

Provide mentorship to junior departmental staff.

Develop Operating Cost Budgets and Capital Expense Budgets for facility integrity initiatives.

Qualifications

Technologist or Associate diploma with a minimum of 7 years experience.

Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) in good standing with ASET or like professional technologist governing body.

Strong technical abilities.

Strong project management skills.

Strong oral and written communication skills required.

Self-motivated, independent, innovative, responsible, team player.
