Job Description
The System Integration Responsible (SIR) is responsible for managing customer level functional requirements within either Body, Chassis, Electrical or Interior. Resolve conflicts between customer requirements or cross functional objectives. Responsible for leading team to achieve common program goals and system functional validation through use of the DVPR and DFSS. Update and develop test methods and specifications for all functional objectives.
Position Requirements
Basic Requirements:
- Experience in setting and assessing customer level requirements
- Experience in constructing full vehicle DVPR
- Passion for vehicles and the ability to access full vehicle performance characteristics
- Ability to construct work plans to resolve issues. Ability to lead large teams, determine gaps to targets and develop solutions
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited University
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of product development experience but will consider recent graduates
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with strong computer software skills
- Experience or training in Design for Six Sigma principles is desired but will train if required
