English translator/editor
We are looking for a native English speaker with working experience in the financial sector to translate and edit texts in line with the corporate style, ensuring a high standard of English.
The opportunity
You'll translate texts originating from a wide range of disciplines into English and edit existing English texts to bring them into line with our corporate style and terminology requirements. Texts will primarily relate to re/insurance, financial reporting, law, economics, HR and logistics. At the same time, you'll systematically develop and maintain the translation memory to increase efficiency and future consistency. In addition you will actively support the maintenance and development of our terminology database.
About you
You have a university degree or equivalent and at least five years' experience translating/editing texts for the financial sector. A native English speaker, you have excellent professional knowledge of German as a source language. Additional languages are an asset. You are also familiar with computer-aided translation software and terminology databases. An excellent writer, you're accurate, conscientious, reliable and in addition you have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work while meeting strict deadlines. You're an excellent team player combined with a 'can-do' mentality keen to learn and improve.
