- Recording all candidate contacts in the Powerforce system
- Ensuring all paperwork and administrative tasks are completed at required times, including preparing candidate dossiers for Officer Selection Boards and Flight Screening
- Coordinating candidate travel and accommodation for Officer Selection Boards, Flight Screening and Enlistment/Appointment Days
- Coordinating Officer Selection Boards and notifying candidates of results
- Public speaking
- Providing feedback and reports to Team Leader/Area Manager on observations and trends
- Assisting in other areas as required (Coordination of “Your Opportunities Unlimited” sessions, administration, reception, etc.)
Defence Force Recruiting (DFR) is a collaborative arrangement between Manpower Services Australia (Manpower) and the Australian Defence Force (ADF), under which Manpower provides recruitment solutions to the ADF, for the recruiting of all ADF positions. An excellent opportunity is now available within our Parramatta team.
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating appointments/enlistments for the area, as well as maintaining professional relationships with candidates, clients and staff members. Your primary focus will lay on achieving the targets set for General Entry positions within the ADF and you may be managing up to several hundred candidates at any one time. You must enjoy working in a busy role!

This role would ideally suit a self-motivated individual with a recruitment background or proven success in a fast-paced sales or customer service role. You must have exceptional time management and communication skills and the ability to plan and coordinate projects while managing priorities and workloads. Exposure in working with senior management, government, and /or military organisations is ideal, though not essential, to the role. Your drive to achieve successful outcomes, professionalism and sales focus will be critical to your success in this role.
This role is offered on a contract basis until 31st October, 2012 with potential to be renewed. All applicants must be an Australian Citizen in order to gain relevant security clearance.
