Enrollment Operations Senior Reporting Analyst

The Senior Reporting Analyst is responsible for defining and documenting report specifications, developing and testing reports, and verifying the information being reported for his or her assigned projects. Reports assigned can be from internal or external sources, and are simple to complex in terms of technical difficulty. The Senior Reporting Analyst will also be asked to complete assigned tasks for larger scale projects, taking direction from a designated project lead. At times, the Senior Reporting Analyst will be assigned ownership of small to large scale projects as a project lead. In this role, the Senior Reporting Analyst will direct the activity of other team members in order to complete the project. The Senior Reporting Analyst must maintain current knowledge of CMS data files, their structures and associated database tables in the enrollment systems. This includes, but is not limited to, a thorough understanding of the available data (Oracle and SQL) and the associated CMS source data/files. The Senior Reporting Analyst should also have a strong knowledge of MS Access and Excel, and be able to use those tools as needed to support operational processes, procedures, and reporting needs. As Medicare Part D Enrollment is highly regulated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), there is a great deal of emphasis placed upon compliance. Many of the deliverables of this role are time sensitive in nature, due to CMS mandated delivery dates and/or internal turn around times that must be met. The Reporting Analyst must ensure adherence to CMS guidelines and regulations and follow written Policies and Procedures. The Reporting Analyst must continually review CMS guidance to ensure reports and defined processes remain compliant. The Reporting Analyst must keep management informed as to project status and potential issues that could prevent on-time delivery of assignments. The Senior Reporting Analyst will also provide input into work instructions, policies and procedures as necessary.
