Kaiser Permanente Enrollment Specialist Burbank, CA Kaiser Permanente is seeking an Enrollment Specialist. The Enrollment Specialist is accountable for creating sales opportunities through targeted enrollment activities to increase membership build support for KP. Establish maintain customer relationships to optimize potential for growth. Identify, create execute on an engagement plan in collaboration w/ Account Manager. Establish maintain internal communication links to ensure timely accurate onboarding of prospective members. Essential Functions: - Engage customer broker contacts to ensure understanding of KP how we serve consumers. - Identify the key personnel, the functions they perform, their role in the DM process their opinions about KP in conjunction w/ the Account Manager/Executive Account Manager. - Understand customer's business business challenges. - Keep customers informed on health care industry trends. - Plan conduct customer meetings presentations. - Engage union contacts to ensure understanding of KP how we serve union members. - Understand the relationship between the union management in the account. - Identify the union's key personnel, the functions they perform, their role in the DM process their opinions about KP. - Communicate basic information about regional enterprise financial position. - Use union relationships to gain access to steward meetings, retiree clubs, new member orientations, etc. to present sell KP. - Analyze open enrollment opportunities develop execute strategies to maximize KP's visibility membership growth. - Evaluate group-specific needs for open enrollment meetings presentations. - Complete post-open enrollment analysis; identify lessons learned. - Initiate any all opportunities outside of open enrollment to engage w/ members potential members to ensure understanding of commitment to KP. - Engage contacts to identify opportunities for KP visibility w/ employees. - Develop present proposals to account manager contacts. - Execute strategies evaluate success. - Engage broker customer contacts to ensure understanding of KP technology tools (e.g., microsites, kp.org). - Identify customers who have microsites measure usage update annually. - Develop plan for demonstrating kp.org to customer their employees. - Acquire enter customer engagement data in a timely accurate manner. - Enter encounter data in a timely manner (e.g., meeting assessments using the EMS tool). - Track membership changes for groups that have an account plan monthly or required by manager. - Reinforce a culture of collaboration accountability between sales, account management, product development, member marketing communications, case installation, local service area resources other key internal partners. - Review document onboarding plan in conjunction w/ the Account Manager Associate Account Manager. - Track onboarding experience to uncover areas of improvement develop/document best practices. - Accountable for financial aspects of the position. (e.g., awareness of current on-site wellness program charges customer-specific MARCOM charges). - Annually select MARCOM collateral for use by local Service Area. Understand costs for standard materials. - Inform Service Area team of worksite wellness opportunities associated costs. - Assist Account Management team as needed to assure timely processing of contract renewals. - Understand the accounts that are in the renewal process the status of each. - Provide administrative back-up support to the account team as needed. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, business administration, or equivalent experience required. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales marketing. - Life license required or ability to obtain one w/in 80 business days of hire date. - Customer service face-to-face presentation skills. - Excellent written verbal communication skills. - Adherence to standard business etiquette practices. - Proven track record of meeting individual business objectives. - Strong computer analytic skills, including experience creating client presentations using Microsoft Office programs use of client databases. - Effective account management skills. - Knowledge of experience w/ employee health benefits. Preferred Qualifications: - Bi-lingual capabilities. - Health care sales marketing experience. - Knowledge of underwriting processes, health care products, contracts.
