We are seeking an Enterprise Architect for our Solution Group to work in Richardson, TX.
Purpose:
- Design and develop highly complex innovative enterprise wide solutions for our client within the Financial Sector.
- Operate strategically and influence the development of technical architecture/specifications for systems and infrastructure.
- Articulate architectural vision, conceptualize and develop alternative approaches and validates against requirements and assumptions.
- As an intricate part of the Account Team, works with clients and sales teams in an expert role.
Key Accountabilities:
- Collaborates with internal/external stakeholders to understand business goals and technical direction and translates to architectural solutions.
- Produces IT architecture that reflects accurately the customers' IS/ IT landscape that is captured in the Solution Snapshot and Solution Blueprint.
- Leads multi discipline teams ensuring the right strategy is implemented.
- Has solution design authority and ensures the proposition aligns with business and the client's expectation.
- Provides thought leadership and technical direction by managing the design, development, installation, and operation of the technical solution.
- Contributes at the highest expert level and is the ultimate escalation point and design authority for their area of responsibility.
- Communicates effectively all financial impacts, risks and complexities of the commercial proposition.
- Identifies and implements solutions that align with corporate offerings and governance. Works with stakeholders to highlight business opportunities and risks.
- Through consultation influences the future focus and development of the client environment at all levels.
- Develops and implements best practices and knowledge sharing opportunities.
- Works with team members and management to streamline processes to meet and exceed customer expectations while reducing costs and eliminating waste.
- Leads Solution Technical Reviews to ensure architectural alignment and compliance to Fujitsu America standards and the Client requirements.
- Provides mentorship to other architects to develop skills to grow within the organization.
- Participates in the selection of other architects
Scope:
- Has design authority for the Account.
- Full accountability for technical solutions within their area of responsibility and is the single point of reference for all technical decisions and escalations.
- Has mastery level experience and breadth of business and technology knowledge and uses professional concepts to resolve highly complex issues.
- Demonstrates and applies best practices for knowledge sharing and skill development of peers and team members.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 15 years overall IT experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an IT Architect as outlined below
- Experience as Enterprise Architect across multiple IT domains industries and creating end to end solutions based on customer's business needs for an IT Solutions and/or Outsourcing Company.
- Possesses structured architecture knowledge, e.g. TOGAF.
- Delivered a client growth strategy, technology roadmap and transformation program.
- Extensive experience in articulating complex and detailed solutions to senior executives in business terms and link the IT to the business needs and requirements.
- Excellent presentation skills and comfortable in both intimate discussion and also conference style delivery.
- Knowledge of leading technologies and current market thinking.
- Experience with sales teams and ability to identify opportunities.
- Experience leading a solutions team and creating the initial solution blueprint based on the clients' requirements.
- Experience conducting solution storyboard sessions with the customers which expends on the solution tower by tower.
- Experience leading a team through due diligence and representing the technical solution through from negotiation to contract signing.
- Experience developing a Statement of Work and Service Level Agreement components for customer contracts.
- Experience forming and actively managing virtual solution teams including: Solution Architects representing all towers, Applications architects, Human Resources, Costing and Pricing, Delivery SME's and Partners/Subcontractors.
- Experience selling and presenting to the CXO level
- Ability to travel 50%
