PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Enterprise Architecture function will be primarily responsible for:
- EA Planning and Roadmap - Defining and maintaining the IT Architecture roadmap
- Understanding of business strategic direction, issues and project goals
- Take leadership role, in close cooperation with the business departments, in the definition of a logical IT solution architecture on enterprise or business unit level that enables interoperability, the main guidance principles for its implementation and transition plan in the IT solution portfolio (direction, priorities, gaps identification) and promotes synergy without compromising system agility.
- Design a flexible and performing solution for a complex and holistic business problem.
- EA Assets Management

- Deliver an integrated IT architectural model linking application, information and systems/infrastructure architectures.
- EA Principles, standard, policies

Providing prescriptive guidance for business initiative level decision making in the IT solution selection for IT initiative level decision making in the technical tools and standards and services selection, and the main guidance principles for its implementation and transition plan (direction, priorities, gaps identification)
- Deploy Enterprise Architecture processes and tools and provide expert advice regarding industry best-practices and compliance with recognized industry standards
- Deliver methodologies, processes and an EA governance framework.

- EA Solution Governance - Aligning all projects to the architectural and technical standards for maintaining the consistency in the IT solutions portfolio

- Assure compliancy of the architecture in the existing and rapidly evolving environment.

- Develop high quality presentations/reports to effectively communicate application architecture artifacts and build consensus between multiple technical and business stakeholders.

- the Enterprise Architect is involved in the first steps of the lifecycle of our strategic programs ( from opportunity qualification till solution selection)
- for understanding the required business/banking capabilities
- for reviewing or capturing the AS-IS situation if existing,
- for defining the TO-BE conceptual model,
- for assisting or managing the scoring of alternative solutions, and mapping them with the model
- for highlighting the main integration criteria and interdependencies constraints in the implementation path definition
- for providing material for Business Case preparatio taking into consideration the application data layer and integration layer
- the Enterprise Architect is working in the documentation of the application landscape, the main data flows
- the Enterprise Architect is conducting some comparison study for IT tools
- the Enterprise Architect is providing assistance to the Delivery managers in the Business case preparation and in the Detailed Solution Design in synchronization with Solution Architects in order to guarantee the alignment within the target application technology landscape
- the Enterprise Architect is involved in the first steps of the lifecycle of our strategic programs ( from opportunity qualification till solution selection)
POSITION REQUIREMENTS/ SPECIFICATIONS
Behavioural Competencies

- Able to analyze issues for a strategic and holistic point of view, while being pragmatic in defining the IT solution.

Technical Competencies
- Good knowledge of the IT Technology environments and tools available today as in application integration mechanism.
- Good knowledge of supportive technologies in the Financial Services Industry.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE
- University degree and at least 5 years of experience in the Financial Services.
- Strong understanding of business value of IT solutions and architectures
- A strong experience in IT department Management, ie IT Solution Implementation is an asset
Required Knowledge
- Good knowledge of Program Management practices or Business Process Design practices
- Experience with EA framework and methodologies would be an additional asset
