Enterprise Community Manager Job in District Of Columbia 20001, District Of Columbia Us

An Enterprise Community Manager is a key enabler to the successful adoption of CollabNet’s TeamForge product for many customers.  This role is the main liaison between CollabNet and all TeamForge users within the customer’s development community for ensuring a positive user experience as well as proving CollabNet’s value proposition.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·        Creation and execution of a targeted Community Development plan based on key corporate and community objectives.

·        Definition, documentation, communication and measurement of collaborative software development processes.

·        Stakeholder training and initial user support.

·        Represent CollabNet to the customer community and enhance customer tool experience and success.

·        Represent customer communities to CollabNet.

·        Help drive adoption and growth of the community by performing the following activities:

§  Site and project promotion

§  Member outreach

§  Site content creation, publication and updates

§  Communication and coordination between key stakeholders

§  New member orientation

§  Process/governance documentation and monitoring

·        Work with Sales/Pre-Sales for proper handoff between Engagement/Installation Management and Community Management.

·        Mentor, train and consult team leads on how to further drive the community.

·        Provide TeamForge tool guidance and 2nd level support to community members.

·        Promote ongoing community best practices.

 

Qualifications:

·        Strong technical application life-cycle development and configuration management knowledge.

·        Ability to work and thrive in an interrupt-driven, multitasking, multicultural environment.

·        Great interpersonal skills.

·        Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

·        Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams that include engineering, marketing, sales and operations.

·        Proven track record of leadership, teamwork, creativity and initiative.

·        At least a Bachelor’s (preferably Masters) degree in computer science or engineering.

·        2+ years community management experience in an enterprise software company, preferred.

·        Experience in leading or active contribution in open-source projects a plus.

·        Some travel required.
