Enterprise Risk Manager recruitment
The position is primarily responsible for leading the enterprise-wide risk management process under the direction of the CRO. The ERM Manager will be required to implement the standard components of ERM bank-wide, those being: internal environment, risk response, objective setting, control activities, event identification, information communication, risk assessment and monitoring.
Duties:
- Develop an integrative representation of risk taxonomy (i.e. Credit, Market, Operational, Liquidity, and Interest Rate).
- Develop quantitative qualitative statements of risk appetite (Bank Business Unit) and ensure they correlate with bank-wide business strategy
- Evaluate the quality of the risk management and monitoring throughout the Bank
- Determine the required economic capital (Pillar 2 capital)
- Develop and evaluate stress scenarios
- Document the Bank’s ICAAP process, and prepare the annual BLITA report
- Prepare the Risk Management Committee of the Board reporting packages
Qualifications:
- 4 year undergraduate college degree is the minimum educational level required for this position.
- Thorough understanding of all aspects of Enterprise Risk Management primarily: Credit, Market, Operational, Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk.
- Prior experience with Probability of Default, Loss Given Default, Value-at-Risk, fixed income derivative valuations.
- Knowledge of financial accounting, financial planning, asset liability management, market risk analysis, and interest rate risk analysis.
- Excellent verbal written skills are required in order to communicate with senior management, relationship managers and other bank personnel.
- Progress towards the FRM designation expected within 12 months
