Job description:
Our client is a very successful and innovative firm who provide a specialised consultancy service to the world of sports gambling and gaming. Using the very latest statistical analysis techniques and a huge network of contacts, our client is able to derive extremely accurate predictions on the outcome of the latest sporting matches globally. They are looking for a C#.NET Developer that is able to demonstrate software development experience and have obtained a 2:1 or above in an IT or science based discipline. Although the role is predominantly development, there will also be a small element of application support (85% development, 15% support). This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading sport’s betting consultancy whose current focus is on the football betting market, but are currently working on expanding the cricket side of their business. They have a strong emphasis on training, with funding for conferences, seminars, courses and relevant text books.
Essential experience:
- C# 4.0
- Strong OO design skills
- Test driven development including mocking
- Dependency injection
- SQL/Relational database design
- Agile principles
- JavaScript
