Entry-Level Bilingual Japanese English Production Supervisor
Qualifications:
Business-level fluency in English and Japanese
Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology or related fields
Strong interest in the food industry
Must be proficient in MS Office
Must be willing to work either first shift (5:00 AM – 3:30 PM) or 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 2:00 AM), depending on the Company needs
Must be able to meet deadlines and multi-task
Job Description :
The Production Supervisor will achieve standards related to quality, attainability of the standard production cases, the standard yield, cost, line efficiencies, waste, safety, sanitation, and productivity by maximizing the condition of the machineries on a line and the utilization of the labor force.
Essential Duties:
Observe the work being performed by Machine Operator to ensure the quality of the work reaches Company standards.
Control any errors that are made on the line (operation errors and substandard machinery conditions) to help reach the standard number of cases.
Enforce safety and sanitation rules.
Completes and files all necessary reports required per the Standard Operation Procedures (HACCP, SSOP, Allergen reports, etc).
Ensure the proper and timely filing of all process control reports.
Coordinate with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
Provide daily direction and leadership to employees on the assigned production line.
Train support staff, assign and direct work, appraise performance, and resolve problems that may arise.
