Entry Level M&A/Corporate Finance Analytical Graduate for Boutique M&A Firm
Must have internship experience/6 months experience and have graduated from a leading university.
My client is an independent MA advisory firm in London that is seeking to employ two graduates to join their team through all aspects of origination and execution of MA advisory mandates. My client has been involved in some of the biggest European deals over the last 10 years with multi million through multi billion. The organisation will also support you to study towards a recognised qualification (CFA, ACA, Corporate Finance certificate etc.) as well as help you build a wide range of skills necessary to develop your corporate finance career, on top of this you will you will get early interaction with clients and exposure to a range of different sectors and mandates.
The role:
- Researching companies and industries through a number of different sources
- Assisting with financial analysis, financial modelling, and valuation techniques to support the advice provided to clients
- Preparing marketing materials and other documentation including pitches, information memoranda, and management presentations
- Support the team in coordinating the transaction process internally and by liaising with clients, their counterparties and other advisers
- Preparing timetables, list of parties and other documents ancillary to Corporate Finance transactions
- Maintaining and updating company databases
The candidate:
- A record of high achievement both academic and extra-curricular (2:1 or above required from a leading university plus strong A-levels or equivalent)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong numerical skills with an understanding of and interest in business and financial markets
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Confident and rounded individual with strong inter-personal skills to be able to liaise effectively with both clients and colleagues
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to pick things up quickly
- Excellent project management / organisational skills
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written

- Proven team player – needs to be able to be relied upon to deliver on time
- Willingness to learn and progress personal abilities
- Confidence with an appropriate level of humility
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Balanced background with a keen interest in other extra-curricular activities
