Entry Level Quantitative Researcher for Systematic Trading Firm recruitment

Profile:

• You will have an exemplary academic track record from A-Level (or high school equivalent) up through your PhD. A minimum of a 2:1 at Bachelor level is required. Exceptional Masters degree holders will be considered. However, PhD and Post-Doc studies is the general required level for entry.

• Fields of study will be highly technical i.e mathematics, physics, statistics, engineering, machine learning or computer science.

• You will have attended a world class academic institution i.e Oxbridge, Ivy League (or national equivalent)

• Numerical programming is an essential part of the role so you will be highly proficient in C, C++ or JAVA. Other desirable programming skills include python, c#, Matlab, R and S-Plus.

• You will be able to demonstrate an interest in finance through internships, personal reading, attendance of finance-related talks etc.

Role:

You will be joining an exceptional group of people in the quantitative research team. Your day to day tasks will involve the analysis of very large and noisy data sets, seeking patterns and generating algorithms. You will be using techniques such as regression analysis, probability theory, pattern recognition and time series analysis. Trading is global.
