Position Description
Provide learning and development support to the Chicago Central branch of C.H. Robinson through development and facilitation of new hire classroom training for sales and account management positions, and other areas as needed. Provide professional input in how new hire training is conducted and implement changes as needed. Partner with Chicago Central management, members of immediate team, and the broader Learning Development Community to identify and align key initiatives with the overall training/onboarding strategy, and to ensure that the training department continue to meet needs of the office.

Responsibilities
-Lead the entry level classroom training program for Chicago Central, including facilitating, providing feedback and coaching to trainees, assessing trainees??? learning retention, and preparing classroom materials
-Partner with subject-matter experts in the office to assess the effectiveness of the new hire training program
-Update training materials, job aids, and other learning resources periodically to reflect changes in technology, our industry, and feedback
-Provide insight and assistance on the new hire onboarding process, such as transition meetings
-Co-facilitate Navigator and MS Office training sessions as needed
-Assist with updating, enrolling, and tracking learner participation within ELM system
-Build a strong understanding of best practices in sales both inside the organization as well as externally
-Participate in projects as needed, such as Corporate LD initiatives, technology pilots, and technology rollouts

Required Qualifications
-Bachelor???s degree and
-2+ years training experience or 1+ years internal C.H. Robinson experience
-Exceptional organizational and project management skills
-Ability to utilize independent judgment in high level decision making
-Ability to positively adapt to rapid change
-Ability to work independently with minimal direction or as part of a team
-Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
-Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment, last minute requests, as well as changing and competing priorities
-Ability to travel up to 15%
