Generalist role – you won’t be pigeonholed into only one area of environmental management but have your skills stretched by all the issues involved in a mining operation. Community Engagement, Regulation, Compliance (Dust, Air, Water, Noise, Rehab, Blast etc) Reporting to Regulators (AEMR, NPI, NGERS, EEO etc), upholding ISO 14001 standards and a hell of a lot more.
The company has recognised that they need to bolster existing teams across the board in order to raise the culture of innovation that has been damaged by going externally to consultants. Already a market leader in terms of production output, they want to own the leading position in innovation.
Ideally a candidate for this role will have at least 2 years experience in Environmental Management within a Mining context along with Tertiary Qualifications in Environmental Management, Engineering or Science.
