Environmental and Industrial Services / Facility Manager Job in Houston, Texas US

The Industrial Services / Facility Manager is responsible for the management of the Houston region including, but not limited to profit/loss, maintenance, administration, and public relations.
Individual will be expected to:
- Ensure employee health and safety are always the primary goal by following policies and processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Manage all aspects of the Houston region in accordance with the Texas business plan and budget, directions from executive management and other directors, and sound management practices.
- Adhere the business plan and budget objectives.
- Establish and maintain a good relationship and line of communication with the customer regarding potential jobs, current job status, and job progress.
- Remain knowledgable on all current and changing laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines applicable to the area of responsibility.
- Develop an annual regional business plan and budget consistent with the business strategies of the company.
- Ensure accounting practices are adhered to by employees in the Houston region.
- Ensure that all tools, equipment, and machinery are maintained in accordance with the ESH Preventative Maintenance Program and that the Houston facility is properly maintained at all times.
- Comply with all human resources (personnel, safety, health, and environmental) policies, procedures, laws and regulations, including SOGs, APs, Personnel Manual, OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, and DOT.
- Direct the utilization of personnel and equipment to service customer requirements.
- Develop and implement plans for operational activities within the Houston region.
- Assist with the marketing efforts of the Houston region including customer relations, price quoting, resolving problems, invoicing, and customer job evaluations.
- Analyze the relevant market and forecast utilization and pricing.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by executive management.
Individual must have:
- At least 10 years of experience with industrial oil refinery services such as industrial services cleaning, emergency spill response, health and safety, and management.
- broad knowledge of managerial and selling skills with chemical handling operations.
- strong health and safety background.
- a high school diploma
- generalized training including (HAZWOPER, Confined Space, OSHA 30, CPR, and First Aid)
The ideal candidate will hold a BS/BA in a Business or Engineering related field.
