Environmental / Civil Project Engineer

Job Description Position is for a project level environmental/civil engineer. The successful candidate will provide environmental engineering support for various environmental projects in the Midwest. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10+ years of environmental, civil, or municipal, engineering and Project Management experience. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and an effective communicator with experience on a variety of municipal, industrial, and federal projects. The successful candidate will also possess (or be able to apply for) Professional Engineer designation in the State of Wisconsin. Duties will include a mixture of office and field project work including preparation of designs for storm water management, Brownfield's redevelopment, remedial excavation, and groundwater and soil remediation systems. Engineer will also provide field support for various projects in order to ensure that construction is implemented in accordance with the designs, accept or reject field modifications, and to provide certifications of compliance. Projects include storm water management system designs, Brownfield redevelopment, grant preparation support, remedial design, and CAD support. Projects will be performed for a wide variety of municipal, private sector, and government clients. Candidate will be responsible for: - Planning, organizing and coordinating work on multiple projects - Preparing design calculations and conducting technical reviews - Preparation of studies and reports - Proposal preparation - Technical specification preparation and review - Site visits/inspections - Reviewing and preparing CAD drawings - Investigating/gathering information to solve problems - Liaison with clients
