Description:
Environmental Compliance support to BP Texas City Refinery, including verification and communication of compliance requirements with environmental permits and regulations. Supports development of compliance programs, Title V auditing/reporting, and incident investigation. Performs QAQC evaluations on engineering estimates related to compliance and release reporting. Reviews compliance trends and supports development of systems to improve compliance. Serve as a liaison with outside regulatory personnel on issues regarding refinery units of responsibility
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in engineering discipline
- Minimum one year experience in the petrochemical or petroleum refining industry. - Strong Technical writing and verbal communication skills.- Strong Math skills- Strong computer skills. (Microsoft Office a must)

If you are selected for a position at the Texas City Refinery, your employment will be contingent upon submission to and successful completion of pre-placement verification of the information and qualifications provided during the selection process, as well as a post-offer/pre-placement medical screen which includes a drug and alcohol screen. The drug screen requires a hair test for which BP must be able to obtain a sufficient hair sample for analysis (~4 cm/1 ½” scalp, or 2 cm/¾” body – arms and armpits/legs/chest).
