Environmental - Environmental Construction - Sr. Program Manager
Job Description We are currently seeking a talented individual to be our Sr. Project/Program Manager to provide overall direction in the pursuit and execution of remediation construction opportunities of considerable size, scope and complexity within the Northeastern US. In this role, you will be expected to routinely resolve high risk for very difficult issues with significant financial impact and must ensure established goals and objectives are met within the framework of established corporate or organizational policies. The successful candidate will be expected to have a proven and significant business development role with key clients; develop project objectives consistent with client and company requirements; coordinate with project leaders to determine staffing and schedule requirements, project budget and delivery schedules; interface with clients and internal/external offices and business units to enhance processes and organizational effectiveness; oversee/prepare technical marketing or administrative presentations and proposals; ensure safety and quality control for the project/program and manage project resources and budget through familiarity with the Oracle financial system. Position requires the supervision of employees directly or as participants in project teams. Typical projects include all services related to Remediation construction projects. Qualifications: - B.S. or higher in Civil Engineering or related engineering or science degree - 20+ years of related experience is required - Advanced degree preferred - Large Firm fixed price or performance-based contract project execution highly preferred - Strong safety track record - Strong technical background in remediation work required - Utility company client relationships and experience with MGP site remediation preferred - Hands-on experience with soil and/or groundwater remediation technologies required - Strong organizational and project management skills required - Supervisory and successful project/program management experience - Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to details and schedules - Must possess good interpersonal skills, maintain professional candor at all times - Must be analytical with attention to detail, able to multi-task, and well organized - Must be able to travel for projects as needed and perform oversight fieldwork.
