Need:
Parsons is in need of an Environmental Remediation Engineer who will have the following responsibilities:  
Leads moderate to complex projects through Corrective Measures Studies into remedial design and implementation.

Understands site conceptual models as the basis for creating approaches to corrective actions that incorporate risk based strategies with active remediation for smart remedial solutions.

Proven performance working with regulators to present sound remedies protective of human health and the environment.

Serves as the senior remediation and technical leader for environmental remediation projects and provides direction on scope development, pilot testing, evaluation, design, and implementation.

Experienced with in-situ remediation strategies such as chemical oxidation, enhanced bioremediation and natural attenuation monitoring as well as excavation, capping, and containment approaches.

Works closely with risk assessment professionals, and field investigation teams and directs and mentors young staff.

Prepares design specifications for bid packages.

Proven experience serving as a Registered Site Manager (RSM) in Texa's REC program is a plus.


 Requirements:
 
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering, or equivalent technical degree, plus 12-20 years of environmental engineering/consulting experience.
• Master of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, client and agency relations skills.
• Project management experience a plus.
• Professional Engineer certification in TX is preferred.
• Registered Environmental Consultant (REC) in TX is preferred.
• Registered Professional Engineer or EIT preferred.
