Environmental Scientist. CLOSURE / REHAB $148K
Specialist knowledge of environmental management planning for mine site closure is highly valued in the industry. Choice of at least 2 roles to recognise this.
Role 1:
- Small team of 4, where you will support and work with the group leader collaboratively.
- Leadership of more junior staff members, project manage the process from technical, client and regulator liaison.
- Large market segment in this niche, with a portfolio of clients that ranges from an iron ore giant, to gold junior.
- WA based specialist environmental consultant. Strong, loyal and well serviced client base.
- Advantage of in house support from technical specialists (botany, zoology, soil scientists), no time organising sub contractors.
- Culturally, it is director owned and ran, who work daily from the office. Which creates a feeling of ownership, individual empowerment and motivation, and a strong emphasis on succeeding as a team.
Role 2:
- Group Leader Role
- Closure specialists are part of integrated mining management division. Support and multidimensional project strategies, mean larger and more diversified jobs.
- Company with number 1 reputation for mining environmental management in WA.
- Specialists in all this mining, the company has relationships that extend globally, and across industries to leverage.
- An example of this is project work is ready to go. Work on this for the next 6 months - then aid the bigger business plan of building a small team around you.
- Individual shares and ownership schemes, mean everyone has a vested interest in the success - no slackers.
For both of these roles, you must have worked specifically on mine closure and rehabilitation management plans, and have at least 6 years experience in the industry.
