Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) Investment Analyst
As the ESG Investment Analyst you will be part of a growing team of dedicated professionals developing and marketing index and quantitative products to help clients monitor and manage the evolution of the global shift to a sustainable economy driven by low carbon energy, a recognition of resource depletion and an evaluation of environmental erosion.
You will be responsible for index product design and development, researching and building global ‘green’ property, forensic accounting and low carbon equity data models, constructing risk measurement and market structure models, integrating liquidity and trading market impact into portfolio rebalancing models, assisting in the writing and publication of research reports and you will be explaining data and models to clients.
To be the successful applicant for this role you will:
- Possess a degree or equivalent in a mathematical science, finance, economics or computer science
- Have an active interest in financial markets, current economic trends and developments; particularly Investments
- Ideally have some practical investment experience , although not essential
- Be computer literate with the ability to programme "at the command line". A working knowledge of R would be useful; absent that, a willingness to learn R is essential
- Be able to explain data to non-technical clients
- Be a self- motivated individual who is prepared to make the commitment to assist in the development of FTSEs new products devoted to
- Ideally have made some substantial progress in either the actuarial or CFA exams
