Giles Waukesha, WI office has immediate positions available for an Environmental Staff Scientist and an Environmental Project Manager.
Minimum educational requirements: B.S. in Soil Science, Hydrogeology, Geology or related science, along with 3-5 years of Project Management experience and 40-Hour Hazmat trained.
Primary responsibilities for the Staff Environmental Scientist include performance of environmental project tasks including due diligence Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), soil, groundwater and air sampling, data reduction, subcontracting, interpretation of regulations and report preparation, while maintaining project timelines and client expectations.
Primary responsibilities for the Environmental Project Manager include project management, budget development and task scheduling, data evaluation, interpretation of applicable regulations, and report preparation. Position will require overall management of environmental projects including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), petroleum spill sites, and other WDNR environmental repair sites, while ensuring project timelines and client expectations are met.
Some travel required. Salary commensurate with experience and applicable certifications.
