ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN SUPERVISOR

We are currently looking for a hands on Supervisor who will be performing all the tasks of a Technician including collecting trash, recyclables, hazardous waste, scrap metal and other waste streams throughout the plant and transporting these wastes to a disposal container or storage room. They will also manage drum pad(s) as required. In addition, the Supervisor will be responsible for scheduling labor and managing other hourly employees. Will also be required to perform light equipment maintenance. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma/GED 2+ years working in an industrial environment Able to pass basic medical exam, to stand, kneel, and bend for long periods of time. Able to climb ladders and stairs without difficulty. Must have manual dexterity sufficient for use of small hand tools, handling of small parts, etc Able to lift equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. with assistance. Lifting, carrying and pulling equipment of various size, shape, and weight.
