Equipment Maintenance Manager

This role will involve leading major change projects and ongoing management of facility and maintenance teams. Responsibilities include designing and implementing preventive maintenance programs, equipment qualification routines, partnering with manufacturing in process qualifications, performance analysis, and optimization of maintenance programs. Responsibilities will also include optimizing availability and uptime of all fabrication equipment and reporting to fab management and process engineering appropriate availability statistics. The processes and equipment to be supported include thin film sputter and PECVD deposition systems, photolithography equipment, wet and dry etch, wet benches, ovens, furnaces, plasma cleaners, metrology equipment (profilometers optical microscopes), DI water, cooling water, process gas, and exhaust systems.
This is a key role within our operations team with full accountability for developing and implementing short and long term goals and objectives to ensure 24 hour operation of the facility and its equipment. This includes internal facility and equipment construction/remodeling projects, identification of needed improvements and repairs, ensuring compliance to all government regulations, and responsibility for all site energy and environmental initiatives and projects. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will build and manage a maintenance and facility team to ensure the safe and efficient, continuous operation of the facility.
Managerial duties include time card approval, weekly reporting, training, safety permitting, in-house safety auditing, and responsibility for full NHDES and OSHA facility compliance.
BS in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Materials Science required, with 7+ years direct and demonstrated experience leading a maintenance team in a semiconductor fabrication facility. Extensive electromechanical troubleshooting and vacuum equipment experience required.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as being able to accept assigned objectives with minimal supervision, and be able to interface with all levels of internal management as well as equipment vendors and sub-contractors.
