Equipment Engineer (Validation) Job in San Jose 95134, California US
Experis Engineering is seeking an Equipment Engineer. The ideal engineer will be responsible for performing equipment validations. This is a contract position that can sit in Fremont or San Jose, CA.
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform efforts in accordance with Quality System standards and Project Initiatives (e.g. Incoming Quality Acceptance Equipment validation ). Activities may include but not be limited to:
Complete validation for Lasermicrometer, Smartscope, MicroVu and Instron 66 hours). Validate new purchased equipment CMM (300 hours).
Support Supplier Quality and IQA Process/ Equipment Engineering Validation
Develop applicable process development documentation
Perform equipment testing and validation
Release documents into PDM
Support management initiatives as applicable
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
Required:
Equipment engineers to perform equipment validations
Requires sufficient professional experience to assure competence as a fully trained engineer.
BS in related discipline, 5-8 years directly related experience,
MS +2-4 years directly related experience
Experience in machine design and automation, preferably in medical device or semiconductor industry. Technical drafting experience in CAD (HP ME10 knowledge a plus). Computer literacy necessary (Apple Macintosh or IBM PC-compatible).
Individual will have function of either project leader or team member as required for equipment related to equipment validation for measuring and testing equipment.
