Position Description
Performs maintenance on factory equipment. Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Uses and interprets blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment. Responds to requests for equipment repair. Maintains and manages component and replacement part inventories. Works under limited supervision.

Complete knowledge of set up, maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of complex machine tools. Complete system knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, drive systems, control systems, vision systems, and industrial computers.

The complete ability to use established physical, mechanical, or scientific principles and perform appropriate tests to identify and solve problems encountered on the job. This includes the ability to locate and isolate the problem, identify possible solutions, and select approaches that are practical and effective.
Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Typical Education/Experience
High school diploma or GED and typically 4 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
