We are currently recruiting for an Equipment Maintenance Technician. This is a great contract opportunity located in Albuquerque, NM and is expected to last up to 9 months. In this position, you will have the opportunity to construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. Identifies parts or machines that need new parts or need to be replaced and places orders as necessary. Responsible for execution of all equipment maintenance and equipment performance activities to ensure production schedules are met. Responsible for weekly maintenance metrics. (Maintenance/ repair cost by equipment, unplanned downtime, planned maintenance, operator PM's, OEE, spare parts inventory). Responsible for maintaining database for all equipment issues including a record of planned and unplanned maintenance times, details of repair activity, responsible technician and time of day maintenance was completed. Responsible for supporting 1st response to all processes that are equipment driven (SMT, Wave, Conformal Coat, Wash, Plated through Hole) Technician will bring process back into conforming condition. Will be required to operate production equipment when needed to achieve daily process output and quality requirements as defined by Manufacturing Engineering. Responsible for providing operator training on proper equipment operation and daily maintenance in accordance with Manufacturing Engineering expectations. Training records must be maintained. Responsible for providing hands-on maintenance technician support to production for equipment teardown and setup. Technicians will ensure machine performance meets engineering, quality and cycle time requirements. Qualifications for this position include Broad knowledge of the manufacturing and equipment related processes. Knowledge with equipment improvement strategies. Problem solving skills and working knowledge with applicable military standards and ISO9000. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain trusting relationships with internal business partners. A.S. in Industrial Electronics, or equivalent experience in the manufacturing engineering field. Four (4) years experience in production and test equipment maintenance. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Good communication skills.Manpower is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE/AA)
