Orion International is currently recruiting Equipment Operators
within the Oil Gas Industry in Texas and New Mexico
We will be holding interviews for these positions on April 26th-27th at Ft. Bragg in Fayetteville, NC
We are seeking combat veterans who are proven achievers with an outstanding work ethic and strong teambuilding skills. Oil gas experience is not required, although you must have a strong general mechanical and technical aptitude. The work is tough, and you will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Your work schedule will be on a rotating shift, and you will live on site during your shift.

As an Equipment Operator you will perform set-up and take-down services of drilling rigs, operate equipment during drilling, perform maintenance and repair, load and off-load equipment, and perform many other responsibilities associated with drilling machinery and its operation.
Position Details:
Salary: Based on company and position. Minimum salary is initially $15/hour, plus significant overtime. The base hourly rate will be significantly increased once the initial probationary period is completed, typically 90 days. During the probation period, you must demonstrate that you can work hard, adapt to the Oilfield environment, and contribute to the team. It is not uncommon to make greater than $75k during the 1st year of employment.
Locations: Texas and New Mexico
Shift Work: Rotational Shifts, live onsite during rotation
Supervisory: No, not initially; however, there is unlimited potential for future career growth.

Sample Position Description (Will vary based on the company and location for which you are hired.):
- Working in fracture, cement and/or coil tubing well service functions as directed by supervisor.
- Set-up well treatment and/or cementing connections, iron, hoses and valves for downhole operations.
- Operate equipment during treatment and/or cementing services and drive assigned transport from the well site to office or next site location.
- Take down treating and cementing connections, iron, hoses, and valves. Secure items for transport.
- Maintenance and repair of equipment, and rigging up and rigging down of jobs.
- Mixing of chemicals for each job.
- Load and off-load equipment.

Requirements:
- Honorably discharged military veteran (Preferably E-3s, E-4s, and E-5s)
- Combat Arms Military Occupations preferred
- OIF or OEF combat veterans preferred
- General mechanical aptitude
- Hard-working with a great work ethic
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willing to work a rotating shift
- Ability to adapt to the Oilfield environment and contribute to the team
- Available to start work within 30-45 days of interviewing
