Equities Application Support role- Investment Bank
Fantastic opportunity to join a major Investment Bank in the City in the Front office Equities/Futures trading desk as a Application Support specialist. This is high pressured faced paced environment looking to grow in team size due to demands. The team currently consists of a wealth of best in the market professionals. Ideally they are looking for like minded individuals who have a good history of application support roles combined with the equities and futures knowledge.
This is a permanent role based inLondon, the City; they are looking to pay circa £60,000-£70,000 for this position.
The hiring manager for this role will be looking for an experience Equities/Futures Application Support Specialist. Someone who has previously or is currently sitting within an Equity technology team and has experience dealing with front office trading systems would be idea for this role. An enthusiastic and energetic attitude is a must for this team.
Key Skills
- Application Support experience
- Strong Equities or Futures knowledge
- Front office and/or market data knowledge
- Degree in computer science would be very advantageous
- Practical FIX knowledge
- Unix
- Shell or Perl scripting
- SQL basic queries
