Our client's business is at the very heart of the London banking community and is a stable member and well regarded institution within city finance circles. As a highly established and well trusted recruitment partner of 10+ years we have been asked to identify a strong Equities Development Manager to work within the Equities Technology team to ensure that the Equities change strategy translates into business change including but not limited to business design, functional requirements, detailed specifications, development and build, testing and implementation. p
The successful candidate will be experienced in delivering business change within the Investment Banking sector, with knowledge and practical experience of Equity concepts, i.e. Equity processing, trading, settlement, Corporate Actions, CSDs etc. You will have strong understanding of SWIFT message formats for Equities and also a strong understanding of Margin methodologies. p

Key skills and experience required: p
• Significant Experience in managing software development projects p
• Equities knowledge with experience in Equities change or business change for Equities products p
• Overall (end to end) understanding and/or working experiences of clearing and CCP services p
• Hands on Development experience gained in Financial Services (Investment Banking preferred) p
• Knowledge / experience of programming languages, database technologies (Sybase preferred), Unix (Solaris) p
• Development on Equities experience highly advantageous p
• Ability to lead and manage development team through complete build and test cycles p
• Strong analytical and problem solving skill set p
• Strong conceptual and practical knowledge of Equities and Equities processing. p
• Excellent knowledge of the financial markets (multi asset class, front to back, buy and sell side) p
Salary to c.£95k base + bonus + 26 days holiday + good pension + BUPA + more. p
