EQUITIES E-TRADING SUPPORT LEAD - UNIX, SQL
An exciting opportunity to join a top tier Investment Bank’s E-Trading Equities Support Lead has arisen for a very cutting edge and high class candidate with previous Front Office Equities, E-Trading Support experience. UNIX / Linux and SQL skills are a must.
As Equities E-Trading Support team lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for the line management of team members both in London and offshore locations, being the technical lead for the co-location / low-latency platforms. You will provide Application Support (Level 2/3) for strategic Equities (Cash) E-Trading Technology in London, and focus on Algorithmic Trading (including Smart-Order Routing and Internalisation) and Exchange Connectivity. In addition you will be expected to manage the Electronic Trading hardware estate whilst also assisting the business-aligned Level 1 team.
The successful candidate must have previous Front Office, Equities E-Trading Application Support experience as a team lead, with strong UNIX / Linux and SQL skills. A good understanding of Trading Algorithms and Exchange Connectivity (FIX) would be strongly preferred.
Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must have excellent communication (written and verbal) skills as well as eligibility to live and work in the UK.
