Equities PMO/Programme Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a world renowned Investment Bank as an Equities PMO/Programme Manager within their Equity Derivatives Middle Office project team.

The Equity Derivatives Middle Office project team is accountable for driving the Operations project agenda and overseeing Operations process improvements across Derivatives, Cash Equities and Prime Brokerage. They determine the operational components within technology driven initiatives, including business process and model re-engineering in addition to the management of Regulatory Reporting commitments and industry initiatives including Dodd Frank impacts.

As the Equity Derivatives PMO, your duties will include:

* Work closely with the Head of Strategic Projects to manage the governance of change programs

* Establish and facilitate forums for discussion of resource profiling, issues, progress, dependencies as and when needed, working in concert with the stream leads of the various programs

* Provide transparency of overall program status to all stakeholders.

* Manage and improve the framework and process for reporting and tracking of milestones, dependencies, issues and financials

* Serve as 'air traffic controller' on all critical issues and key facilitator to ensure necessary decisions are made in a timely manner

* Leverage appropriate SMEs and initiative owners to resolve challenges to Program objectives

* Drive communications and reporting to senior Equities MO management on progress, issues and financials

* Compile overall roadmap including resource profiling and allocation

* Establish the governance process and framework methodology for on-going management and tracking of the Non BAU agenda

The successful candidate MUST have previous Equities Derivatives industry experience to include the trading and middle office or technology functions in addition to a detailed understanding of Cash Equities and Equity Derivative products. You will have a proven track record of delivering a significant number of complex projects while building and driving a Program Management framework and toolkit and be able to work closely with stakeholders ranging from Global MDs to Analysts.
