Equities Product Control – Associate recruitment

My client, a leading Investment Bank - is looking for talented and experienced Product Controllers to join the Equities Product Control team in Hong Kong.
This is an attractive opportunity to join one of the fastest growing and most profitable Banks.

Will look at individuals with between 3 and 7 years experience

Main Duties
* Daily PL production, incl. running PL attribution
* Understanding, validating commenting on daily PL in a challenging and high growth environment
* Assist and support the many different strategic project initiatives underway
* Interaction on a daily basis with the various project stakeholders
* Understanding ensuring the integrity of the business processes systems
* Perform monthly reconciliation of PL to the general ledger (SAP)
* Perform production of weekly and monthly MIS for Senior Management
* Preparation of Monthly Balance Sheet substantiation packs
* Initiating driving process and control improvement

Person Requirements
Essential qualifications and experience

*Strong degree or equivalent in appropriate field.
*Either a Qualified accountant - ACA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent or
*Financial services audit background and/or equivalent

Preferred qualifications and experience

*Numerical degree or equivalent with strong grades.
*Experience of working against tight deadlines in a pressurised environment.
*Demonstrate appreciation of controls, process enhancement and improvement.
*Experience of dealing with demanding clients.
*Good experience of working with excel some Access DB.
