Equities Product Specialist/Client Portfolio Manager recruitment

As a Global Equities Portfolio Specialist, you will direct the assigned asset class investment marketing activities, including how portfolio management, research, investment risk management functions and investment philosophy are presented to clients and consultants. In conjunction with the Executive Director, Managing Director Global Equities, and/or CIO, establish and implement the investment management business of short and long term plans and strategies.

In addition:

• Identify and foster strong relationships with clients and consultants to explain the firm's investment strategy, performance results, as well as economic conditions in general and specific securities/markets as related to their portfolio

• Collaborate and strategize with PGI sales and marketing to assure that marketing initiatives (including materials, presentations, produce white papers, follow through, etc.) are coordinated with appropriate resources and ensure expertise in various marketing meetings. Travel with sales team as necessary to represent our equity capabilities to consultants, clients and prospective clients as well as our affiliated clients.

• Participate as a member of the assigned asset management team or strategy group in review and development of business strategy, operational policy and product development initiatives.

• Interacts with senior management across the organization to enhance and leverage opportunities to achieve the organization's business and financial results.

Qualifications:

• MBA with finance emphasis

• Charted Financial Analyst designation

• 10 - 15 or more years of equities investment experience required. Strong preference for emerging market experience.

• Knowledge of asset allocation and sophisticated investment vehicles, comprehensive understanding of investment strategy and philosophy, business acumen, analytical, superior judgment, and total rate of return mentality required.

• Must be a broad strategic thinker and demonstrate superior understanding of economies and investment theories.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to build strong relationships required.

• Must have the ability to travel (including occasional extended stays) domestically and internationally, approximately 30 -40 percent travel would be required.
