A market leading blue chip Hedge Fund based London, is looking to expand its experienced Equity Fund Management team and bring in a strong Long/Short Equity Analyst. The candidate will be expected to have delivered consistent positive returns and provide a track record for this globally-renowned alpha-generating Equity Investment Fund.
Candidates should operate currently or recently on a Global market neutral equity coverage with a fundamental bottom-up bias and have a top University education.
Responsibilities of the Equity Analyst Role:
- You will be assessing the risk management aspects of investments through due diligence of companies and stocks
- You will be covering all aspects of stock-picking idea generation through presentation and market research to the fund managers
- Purely fundamental and bottom-up approach to stock selection with a relative long term bias
- Absolute Return edge to long term investments with a high alpha stock-specific focus
The right candidate will:
- Demonstrate a strong track record and experience of financial investments, such as Long/Short Hedge Funds or top-tier investment through bull and bear market conditions
- Stock pick in a rigorous, bottom-up and fundamental in-depth research
- Have a pan-European or Global market coverage and a true devotion to the research of stock picking
- Show a high and strong record of top UK Hedge Funds with proven strong performance
- Sector specialists and generalists will be equally welcomed given their alpha-gen stock-picking is proven by their track records
