Our client is a leading banking group with businesses in Private Banking, Asset Management, and Corporate Investment Banking. They are currently looking for an outstanding and dynamic Equities Settlement Associate to cover the Japan Market to join their well-established Global Markets Operation Team in Hong Kong.
Being part of the team dealing with Japanese Equities Settlement, your job will involve liaison and coordination with front office, clients and local settlement agents in respective Asian countries. Furthermore, you will be responsible for settlement processing, fails management, secondary placement structuring and key projects within the Equity operations. The ideal candidate will to need to use initiatives to participate in ad hoc projects for value adding purposes.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- Business level Japanese English is mandatory
- A Bachelor Degree
- At least 2-3 years of experience in settlements
- Strong knowledge in Equities
- Strong knowledge of the financial markets and services
- A team player and able to demonstrate integrity with clients and colleagues
