Equities Trader (Japanese Speaking) at Asian-based Investment Bank (HKD $50K+) recruitment
The Company
Our client is a well known Asia-based investment bank that is currently looking for an equities trader to help fill a trading role in their growing desk. The firm has a large global presence with its headquarters situated in the Asia Pacific region. Successful candidate must be a Japanese speaker and have at least 5 years experience in trading Asia Pacific equities in various stock exchanges.
The Role
• Have at least 5 years of trading and execution experience at previous asset management company or investment bank
• Demonstrate an ability to understand, analyse, valuate, and trade equities and equity derivatives on global equity exchanges
• Liaise closely with sales associates and sales traders on the trading instruction of contracts
• Travel frequently to other Asian financial hubs to meet clients
• Fluent in Japanese and English is a must
Your Profile
As an ideal candidate, you will have a degree in finance or a related subject, preferably with a CFA charter. You should be dynamic, demonstrate an ability to work under a fast-paced environment, and have at least 5 years of previous experience in equities trading at an asset management company or investment bank. Ideal candidates must possess the ability to speak fluent English and Japanese.
