Equity Analyst
To work as part of our London based global Telecom and Cable team.
Role:
- Build and maintain models for stocks and markets
- Desk top research and industry projects
- Develop industry relationships and network at industry/company events
- Drafting of research notes
- Development of investment ideas
Candidate requirements
Skills - financial/analytical:
- Proficient in Excel modeling
- Expertise in the analysis of financial information
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
Skills - inter-personal:
- Strong written and oral communication
- Ability to operate independently and take proactive approach to role and personal development
- Confidence to reach out and engage with industry participants
- Potential to develop strong client relationships
Expertise
Requirement for a candidate to have a minimum of two years corporate finance experience, ideally (but not necessarily) with exposure to the European Telecom or US Cable sectors.
Education
- Degree (2i or above) from top UK university or international equivalent
- Good A levels (provide subjects and grades in your CV)
- Preference for further education: Accounting qualification, CFA, MSc, or MBA
Work permission
Ability to work full time in the UK without a sponsor.
