The Role
You will operate as a part of the broader research team to provide investment recommendations to the Senior Investment Professionals within the firm. During your induction, you will work alongside a Senior Analyst on various projects and from there you will be allocated to a specific sector in order to provide ratings on your specific allocation of stocks for internal Portfolio Managers/Senior Analysts. From here, your sector focus will rotate every 2.5-3 years offering you the opportunity to pursue new challenges and further your career development within the firm.
Your Responsibilities
- Responsibility for analysis of allocated stocks within your sector
- Use a range of sources and your initiative to generate as much quality information in order to formulate views on your stocks.
- Keep up to date and maintain your knowledge of the stocks and ultimately their on-going ratings.
- Prepare regular reports/commentaries on assigned stocks
- Effectively communicate your views to Senior Investment Professionals via all forms of communication
Experience
- A genuine passion for investing is the primary pre-requisite for these opportunities. We need to see a strong personal investment or prior related work experience within the stock markets. If you do not have a keen interest in stocks - no need to apply.
- Undergraduate Degree
- Up to 3 years corporate experience
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Openness to global travel
- A strong desire to succeed, be an integral part of a high performing team and have passion about driving innovation and performance in this industry
